Had a medical call for a possible broken ankle. Current temperature was -12 degrees F. We were dispatched as an Alpha response. So I drove the engine as a leisure stroll. We arrived on scene to find the PT outside in pain. We asked why she was still outside and the PT's husband stated that "dispatch told them to remain outside." Why? I still have not been told that answer. The PTs ankle had minimal swelling. We loaded her into the ambulance and off she went to BACH. end of call! interesting right? Now if people would post more important calls on here.
