Who we are?
Members of the Ft. Wainwright Fire Department, dedicated to the brotherhood of the Fire Service.

Where is Ft. Wainwright located?
In the heart of the interior of Alaska just outside of Fairbanks, Ft. Wainwright is 350 miles north of Anchorage. The Post is a short drive from Denali National Park, the Arctic Circle and the world renowned Copper River.
What is the purpose of The Ft Wainwright Firefighters Association?
In 2008 several of our firefighters decided to form an organization that would not only benefit the department, but would act as a vehicle for the department to give to the surrounding community, especially the Active Duty Community.
How do we accomplish this?
The Association allows us to get involved in community events as well as give back through scholarships and grants. We take pride in serving our community and enjoy every opportunity.
